FoR Peel was established in 2002 to balance the legitimate use of the Peel rivers system for leisure and livelihood with the need to protect the life blood of the Peel Region from pollution and erosion.

Now called Friends of the Rivers, we coordinate the Clean Up Australia Month every March with support from the Peel-Harvey Catchment Council.

This annual event is an expansion of our successful Clean up the Peel Waterways events.
